retreat philosophy

And Weini, Tintin, and I are no ordinary hosts.

Yes, we like yoga (a lot, actually).

But we also like food (…a lot more).

And laughing. And learning. And lake dipping. And sun lounging. And doodling. And chatting. And journalling.

This is no ordinary retreat.

We also share a healthy cynisism about the Wellness Industry.

Our shared philosophy is that wellness should not promise you relief from the struggles of daily life - that is painfully temporary. Which makes wellness the drug… and we’re not in the pharma business.

We believe wellness should help you locate within yourself the capacity, tools and mechanisms by which you can begin to regain agency over your health and wellbeing in a permanent, sustainable and realistic way that works for you.

We also think serious work is best done without taking yourself too seriously.

So we have designed this Executive Yoga Retreat to prioritise food, movement, good company, and providing the guidance we all need sometimes to figure out what living intentionally means to us, and how we can do more of it.

We do that through carefully curated journalling prompts and creative workshops, and optional coaching circles and executive coaching exercises you can do in your own time alongside yoga, good food, and great company.

By giving you both a beautiful place to rest and gently move and feed your body, as well as the necessary tools and guidance, this retreat will help you
figure out what your intentions are, and how you want to show up for yourself when you go home.

Back to the routine that caused you to need to ‘retreat’ in the first place — so that the next time you retreat, that feels like a choice you make for the sheer joy of it, not a necessity to keep you going.

Step away.

Slow down.

Think Clearly.

Act with intention.
