This is not the kind of retreat where you nibble on sad lettuce and call it a cleanse.

Food at Good Retreats is as much about joy as it is about fuel. We eat three incredible meals a day, freshly prepared by @swilipino, who blends Swedish and Filipino flavours into something truly special.

The food is seasonal, satisfying, and ridiculously good. No rules, no restrictions—just good company, great food, and a table worth gathering around.

A couple of years ago, I saw that Tintin was hosting a Swedish-Filipino food pop-up at My Neighbours the Dumplings in Dalston (where she works when she’s not doing a million other things). I went. I ate. I became somewhat obsessed.

So much so that when I heard she was the chef for a yoga retreat—coincidentally, the same retreat where I met Weini—I immediately signed up… for the food. No regrets.

Full disclosure: it is entirely possible that this entire retreat is just an elaborate excuse to eat Tintin’s cooking for four days. Who can say.

Here’s what you need to know: Tintin is ridiculously good at what she does.

She takes two cuisines that most people wouldn’t immediately put together and creates something so fresh, so unexpected, that you’ll wonder how it’s the first time you’ve ever eaten it. And before you know it, you’ll be finding excuses to eat more of her food, too.

And so… here we are.

There’s really no way I can do it justice. Just come. Eat. You won’t regret it.

Meanwhile, check out her Instagram or Substack.

What to expect

🍽 Three incredible meals a day on full retreat days (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

🍷 Dinner on arrival day, breakfast before departure—because no one should travel hungry.

🍪 Self-serve snacks for the snacky amongst us (..me). No judgment.

🌏 Fresh Swedish-Filipino fusion—a mix of bold flavors, unexpected pairings, and pure joy.

No MSG.

🥦 Not a fully vegetarian menu, but if we have a lot of veggies in the group, we’ll happily go all-in.

No detox. No sad salads. Just really, really good food.
